Livestream Class Schedule

  • Duration: 1 hour

Approval by the instructor is REQUIRED to take this class. This is a flowing and very intense Pilates Mat class. It combines the flow of the classical mat work with some creative variations to help achieve a more cohesive full-body understanding of the advanced exercises. You will challenge strength, flexibility, body awareness and coordination at the highest levels. Attendees should have no preexisting conditions in the hips, spine or shoulders that would put you at risk.

  • Duration: 1 hour

Are you new to Pilates? Do you want to try it out with a professional instructor with over 20 years of experience? Do you want a more gentle Pilates class to attend? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Mat 101 is the class for you. This class is open to all levels and anyone interested in going back to the basics of Pilates, especially regarding form, alignment and stability. NOTE: You must be able to get up and down off the floor without pain to take this class.

  • Duration: 1 hour

Apply the latest fascial research to your movement practice. The importance of fascia, or connective tissue, in movement has been underestimated until recently. The technique uses multidirectional exercises, flowing movement, proximal initiation and tempo variation for a class that challenges mind and body. The result is fascial line organization, tension release and skeletal balance. While you will feel as though you stretched during class, your body will be stronger and feel as though you worked deeply and intensely.

  • Duration: 1 hour

Approval by the instructor is REQUIRED to take this class. This class is a fast-paced advanced mat class that challenges strength, form, endurance, ROM and coordination to achieve the highest level of Pilates training. This class is based in Classical Pilates but applies current scientific understanding of fascia, spine mechanics and biomechanics in general in form. Attendees should have no preexisting conditions in the hips, spine or shoulders that will put you at risk.

  • Duration: 1 hour

Finally! A virtual livestream reformer class that provides personal feedback by a master instructor for owners of this amazing equipment! This is an intermediate class with a good flow of exercises – perfect for your home practice to keep you strong and mobile. You also need to have a Reformer to use to attend this class. The reformer will add strength and flexibility challenges past a level-one reformer class, utilizing core Pilates exercises and adding progressive exercises to increase body awareness, endurance and coordination.

  • Duration: 1 hour

Intermediate mat picks up the pace, amount and difficulty level of exercises in your session. Focus is learning breath and body coordination, and gaining strength, flexibility and endurance. Clients should have a good idea of Pilates form and can start to learn how to perform each exercise using the full body. Body awareness is used to get a better understanding of energy and efficiency of movement. This class is perfect for practitioners who want to maintain or improve their overall Pilates technique.

You need a device (phone, laptop or tablet) and the internet! That's pretty much it! By now, most of us have used the ZOOM platform, but if you need any help setting up, we can schedule a complementary on-boarding call. In your first class, if you didn’t request an on-boarding call, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to iron out a camera angle for you to see me and vice versa to create the best livestream experience.

DO: Set up an onboarding call.
DO: Let us help you “cast” your class onto a large screen monitor or TV!
DO: Wear fitness clothes in any color except black.
DO: Practice getting up and down off the floor. Mat and fascia classes are done almost specifically lying on the floor. This is a must in most classes. If you have trouble but still want to try Pilates, call or email me for more information.
DO: Have “back lighting” so you are visible on screen and not in shadow. This can mean a lamp or portable lighting behind your device OR placing yourself strategically close to a window (front or side of you never behind you).
DO: Consider buying small props. This Bundle is a great starter kit! Many of the small props can be purchased individually OR we can find things you have at home to mimic the small props. Small props I love: foam roller, ball, bands that can be mimicked using a rolled-up towel, belts or straps, firm pillows, light hand weights or even cans of veggies. Ask me before purchasing props to get the most economical props for you!
DO: Consider setting up a full Livestream Initial Session. This is a discounted one-hour private session to go over goals, a posture analysis and start the foundations of Pilates. Ask how you can get your initial session for free! (Note: this is different from the onboarding call.)
DO: Remember we have a Reformer class livestream as well! Any reformer will do!

DON’T: Forget to ask any questions to prepare for Pilates to make your world better!
